Booking Confirmation & Payments

A 20% down payment is required to secure your reservation.

The remaining balance must be settled at least 7 days before departure.

Last-minute bookings (within 7 days before departure) require full payment upon booking.

Haraya is not responsible for any transactional or bank charges incurred.
-
Accepted payment methods: PayPal, bank transfer, or cash (collected only by an authorized Haraya representative).
-
Late payments may result in automatic cancellation without prior notice.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
-
Cancellation within 14 days before departure: A cancellation fee of âą1,500 applies.
-
Cancellation 7 days or less before the trip: No refund.
-
No-shows or late arrivals: No refund.
-
Cancellations due to bad weather or safety concerns: The trip will be rescheduled for safety.
Changes & Departure Delays

If a one-day departure delay is announced less than 14 days before the trip, refunds or rescheduling are not available.

If notified more than 14 days before departure, guests may refund or reschedule at no extra cost (âą1,500 change fee waived).

Haraya is not required to amend or rebook any third-party accommodations affected by schedule changes.
-
All external hostel/hotel rebooking is the sole responsibility of the guest and may incur additional costs.
Rebooking & Changes

Rescheduling more than 14 days before departure: âą1,500 rebooking fee + any price difference.

One-Time Free Rebooking allowed if requested 14+ days before departure due to valid emergencies such as:

Medical emergencies
-
Flight cancellations
-
Death or serious illness of an immediate family member
(Documentation may be required. Subject to availability.)

Departure Date Flexibility: Haraya may adjust departure by up to one day due to weather or operational concerns (not eligible for refund or free reschedule).

If departure is moved beyond one day and the trip does not proceed, guests may refund or reschedule without fees.
General Conditions

Guests must ensure accurate personal and travel information upon booking.

A valid government-issued ID is required before departure.
-
Guests must arrive on time; late arrivals may result in forfeiture without refund.
-
Guests must inform Haraya of any medical conditions or special needs in advance.
-
All guests must follow local regulations and safety protocols during the trip.
-
By joining the trip, the guest grants Haraya the right to capture and use photos/videos for marketing and social media without further consent or compensation.
Accommodations

Standard accommodations are shared, unless stated otherwise.
-
Room or cabin assignments are arranged based on availability and group size.
-
Private rooms may be requested in advance, subject to availability and additional charges.
Itinerary

Haraya may amend, modify, or adjust the itinerary due to weather, safety, operational requirements, or conditions beyond our control.

Such changes do not qualify for refunds, compensation, or claims.
Mandatory Briefing Attendance

Attendance at the pre-trip briefing is required for safety.
-
Guests who fail to attend will be considered a no-show and cannot join the expedition.
Baggage & Personal Belongings

Haraya is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
-
A reasonable internal investigation may be conducted if reported, but this does not imply liability or compensation.
Transfer of Booking
A booking may be transferred to another person if:

Haraya is notified at least 14 days before departure

The new participant accepts all terms & conditions

The schedule remains unchanged

Payments made are non-refundable, and the slot is transferable once only
Travel Insurance
Haraya strongly recommends securing comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

Trip cancellations or delays
-
Medical emergencies or accidents
-
Lost or damaged baggage
-
Natural disasters or force majeure
Ensure your policy includes adventure activities and covers the destination.
Force Majeure
Haraya is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including:

Natural disasters
-
Government restrictions or travel bans
-
Political unrest or civil disturbances
-
Public health emergencies
In such cases, Haraya may reschedule or issue travel credit. Refunds will be evaluated based on incurred costs.
If the designated vessel becomes unavailable, a comparable substitute will be provided without liability or compensation.
Safety & Preparedness

Guests must bring necessary personal medications.

Haraya provides only basic first aid (no prescription medicine).
-
All costs for medical evacuation or emergency treatment are the sole responsibility of the guest.

All vessels and equipment meet required safety standards.
-
Guests must follow all safety instructions and may be refused service if they endanger themselves or others.

Guests must respect the environment and cultural sites; only use reef-safe sunscreen.
Data Privacy
Haraya processes personal information in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
Information is used only for booking management, safety, legal compliance, and marketing.
Data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required or essential to trip operations.
